Snowman Chocolate Cups

These fun, festive and delicious Snowman Chocolate Cups are the perfect Christmas treats or wintertime snacks! These no-bake chocolate cups are also made with just a hand full of ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 6 pretzel sticks cut in half
  • 1/4 cup Christmas sprinkles
  • 6 pretzel sticks cut in half
  • Red sparkle gel
  • Black sparkle gel (optional: I didn't use this, but it will be faster and easier if instead using a snipped plastic bag with melted dark chocolate)

Instructions

  • In a heat-proof medium bowl, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave. Every 20 seconds stir the chocolate and put again in the microwave and continue repeating until the dark chocolate is melted.
  • Spoon two tablespoons into a resealable plastic bag and set aside.
  • In another heat-proof small bowl, melt the white chocolate in the microwave and stir every 20 seconds until it is melted.
  • Spoon all the melted white chocolate into another resealable plastic bag and set aside.
  • Then, pour the dark chocolate into silicone muffin pan (you can also use a muffin pan that is not silicone).
  • Snip the corner of the plastic bag that has the white chocolate.
  • While the dark chocolate is still warm, make the snowman by piping circles of white chocolate.
  • Snip the corner of the other plastic bag that has the melted dark chocolate and draw the eyes and mouths. (it's important that you make a very small hole at the corner of the bag, to avoid making a mess when you draw the little eyes and mouth.)
  • Add pretzel stick arms.
  • Using the red sparkle gel make the buttons of the snowman.
  • Sprinkle Christmas sprinkles around the snowman.
  • Now, chill in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.

Notes

  • Adapted from The Decorated Cookie.
  • When melting the chocolate, make sure there's no liquid in the bowl as it'll cause the chocolate to seize. 
  • If you don't have chocolate chips, you can also melt chocolate baking bars. 
  • Use good quality dark chocolate as it is the main ingredient for these snowman chocolate cups.
  • To store: Keep the chocolate cups covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.
